It boasts exceptional durability for long strip roofing, with top-notch resistance to corrosion (RC5), UV radiation (Ruv4), and scratches. Its minimal thermal expansion outperforms metals like zinc and aluminum, ensuring decades of stability without buckling or deformation.

HIGH AESTHETICS AND TOP QUALITY

GreenCoat® PLX Pural BT empowers roofers and architects to craft intricate roofs and facades, including fascias and gutters. It offers a broad selection of high-quality, modern colours and finishes, favoured by professionals. Moreover, it holds a fire rating of A2 s1 d0 (EN 13501-1).

EASY YEAR-ROUND INSTALLATION, EVEN AT -15°C

With its unique, non-“spring back” formability, GreenCoat® PLX Pural BT allows manual or machine folding and bending even in -15°C, making year-round installation cost-effective. Soft-soldering it, similar to zinc, involves removing the paint layer, applying flux, using 50/50 or 60/40 tin solder, and repainting.

THE MOST SUSTAINABLE COLOUR COATED STEEL ON THE MARKET

Steel has the lowest embodied energy at just 145 MJ/m2. GreenCoat® colour-coated steels are exceptionally sustainable, incorporating Swedish rapeseed oil instead of fossil oils. To enhance sustainability, we plan to introduce SSAB’s first fossil-free steel by 2026, emitting water instead of CO2, setting a unique industry standard.
